Emergency Action Procedures: In the event of a small spill, it will be cleaned immediately. This will be <br /> done with the use of brooms and shovels. In the event of a large spill as stated above,the point of the <br /> leak will be sprayed with water if small enough. If the breach is too large,then all personnel will <br /> evacuate the area as stated above, and emergency services will be contacted (911) immediately. Acetylene tank leak causing an explosion. <br /> Emergency Response Equipment Needs: None. <br /> Critical Plant Operations Shut Down Or Control: In the event that the propane tank ignites and <br /> explodes,then all personnel will proceed to the safe evacuation areas. The person in charge will contact <br /> the fire department and let them know what has happened. If a person is injured,and/or burned from <br /> the explosion,then that person will require immediate medical attention.The person in charge will call <br /> 911 and inform them of what happened,and that a person is injured. <br /> Personnel Evacuation and Accounting:All personnel will evacuate to the safe areas until the resultant fi <br /> has been extinguished.The person in charge will account for all personnel. <br /> Emergency Response Training Requirements: None. <br /> Emergency Contacts: <br /> 1.
