The definition of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material includes <br /> incidents that pose an actual or potential hazard to human health and safety, property <br /> or the environment. In the event of a hazardous materials release or threatened <br /> release, state law requires immediate verbal notification to the agencies listed below. <br /> a. Local Fire Department <br /> b.
