API 653 In-Service Inspection Report r <br /> for m m m m <br /> Pacific Ethanol HMT Inspection <br /> Tank No. T-6105 August 7,2013 <br /> Stockton, CA Page 7 of 45 <br /> SUMMARY AND REPAIR RECOMMENDATIONS (CONT'D.) <br /> NOZZLES AND APPURTENANCES (CONTD.): The vertical ladder coating is <br /> weathered and is starting to show signs of failure with light surface rust present. <br /> Consideration should be given to properly re-coating this detail to minimize further <br /> corrosion. <br /> FIXED ROOF: <br /> Visual (VT) inspection and Ultrasonic (UT) testing was performed in accessible <br /> locations. <br /> Visual (VT) inspection noted the entire roof and handrail coating is weathered and is <br /> showing signs of chalking. The coating is intact with no areas of failure that expose the <br /> underlying carbon steel. There is product residue on the roof plates.
