EMERGENCY COORDINATOR'S DUTIES <br />There is at least one designated Emergenc C ain for either on-site, or on call, at all times. <br />The Emergency Coordinator is response le for the direction and coordination of all <br />emergency measures, as described herein. A list of Emergency Coordinators is provided in <br />Section III. <br />The Emergency Coordinator has the authority to direct company resources in the event of an <br />emergency. This includes the authority to evacuate the facility, utilize and purchase <br />equipment and materials, and to contract with outside services and response agencies <br />including police, fire, and clean-up crews. <br />All of the designated facility Emergency Coordinators are familiar with the following: <br />Emergency Response Plan ��V�I�� <br />Location and characteristics of the hazardous materials V <br />Layout of the facility MAY 18 2015 <br />Operations and activities of the facility ENVIRONMENTAL. <br />Location of all records within the facility HEALTNr)FppgT6AFNT <br />Emergency shutdown procedures <br />General knowledge of the hazardous waste control laws and how they <br />affect emergency response activities. <br />This is accomplished by providing a combination of in-house and outside training to the <br />Emergency Coordinators. <br />General Procedures in the Event of an Emergency <br />1. The order of priorities in any emergency (actual or imminent) is as follows: <br />Ensure human health and safety <br />Safeguard the environment, wildlife, and livestock <br />Preserve and prevent damage to property <br />Preserve and protect company property <br />2. The Emergency Coordinator must notify company personnel as necessary to obtain aid <br />and ensure human safety using the facility communication procedures. (Section IV) <br />3. The Emergency Coordinator must notify appropriate emergency response agencies and <br />services, as described in this plan. (Section III) <br />4. In the event of a release of a hazardous material, the Emergency Coordinator must <br />immediately identify the character, exact source, amount, and extent of the release. <br />
