EMERGENCY COORDINATOR'S DUTIES There is at least one designated Emergenc C ain for either on-site, or on call, at all times. The Emergency Coordinator is response le for the direction and coordination of all emergency measures, as described herein. A list of Emergency Coordinators is provided in Section III. The Emergency Coordinator has the authority to direct company resources in the event of an emergency. This includes the authority to evacuate the facility, utilize and purchase equipment and materials, and to contract with outside services and response agencies including police, fire, and clean-up crews. All of the designated facility Emergency Coordinators are familiar with the following: Emergency Response Plan ��V�I�� Location and characteristics of the hazardous materials V Layout of the facility MAY 18 2015 Operations and activities of the facility ENVIRONMENTAL. Location of all records within the facility HEALTNr)FppgT6AFNT Emergency shutdown procedures General knowledge of the hazardous waste control laws and how they affect emergency response activities. This is accomplished by providing a combination of in-house and outside training to the Emergency Coordinators. General Procedures in the Event of an Emergency 1. The order of priorities in any emergency (actual or imminent) is as follows: Ensure human health and safety Safeguard the environment, wildlife, and livestock Preserve and prevent damage to property Preserve and protect company property 2. The Emergency Coordinator must notify company personnel as necessary to obtain aid and ensure human safety using the facility communication procedures. (Section IV) 3. The Emergency Coordinator must notify appropriate emergency response agencies and services, as described in this plan. (Section III) 4. In the event of a release of a hazardous material, the Emergency Coordinator must immediately identify the character, exact source, amount, and extent of the release.
