What NOT to do in case of emergency or spill: <br />CVAG Employees SHALL NOTdo the following in case of emergency or spill <br />Do not attempt to clean up spill with water. This will only increase the size of the spill, and also allow it to travel into <br />water sources. i.e., drains and groundwater <br />Do not attempt to finish current task before shutting off vehicle and shut off valves. Spills are time sensitive <br />Do not fail to notify reaction team immediately <br />Do not attempt to deal with a situation that can result in Death or serious injury. CALL 911 <br />Conclusion: <br />Hazmat spills are a reality and we are required by law to be prepared to deal with any spills or situations that can arise. <br />Being prepared for such an event only makes CVAG employees ready, more professional and safe in case of such an <br />event. This also helps PAS cut down on small incidents that can become large incidents. Remember, containing spills and <br />Hazmat is everyone's responsibility.
