ARSNC <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />Applied Remedial Services (ARS) is pleased to submit this Phase II Environmental Site <br />Assessment (ESA) report for the former Save Mart at 3310 and 3330 East Main Street in <br />Stockton, California (Site) (see Figure 1 and Figure 2). This report documents the drilling and <br />sampling of four soil borings (B-1 through B-4) at the site on August 24, 2012. <br /> <br />1.1 Scope of Work <br />ARS was contracted by EH National Bank to conduct the following scope of work. <br />Task 1 Conduct prefield activities. <br />Task 2 Conduct drilling and sampling of nine soil borings. <br />Task 3 Conduct laboratory analyses. <br />Task 4 Prepare report of findings. <br />These tasks were conducted in accordance with generally accepted sampling guidelines and <br />protocols. <br /> <br />1.2 Out-of-Scope Items <br />There were no out-of-scope items. <br /> <br />1.3 Limitations <br />The services provided under this contract as described in this report include professional <br />opinions and judgments based on data collected. These services have been provided according <br />to generally accepted environmental protocol. The opinions and conclusions contained in this <br />report are typically based on information obtained from: <br />Observations and measurements made by our field staff. <br />Contacts and discussions with regulatory agencies and others. <br />Review of available hydrogeologic data. <br />2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />2.1 General Site Description <br />The Site comprises an approximately 1.63-acre, nominally square (trapezoidal) land parcel <br />measuring approximately 260 feet by 260 feet. The Site currently includes a large, irregularly- <br />shaped building on the north and west sides of the parcel, and asphalt-paved parking on the <br />southeast side of the Property. <br />PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT Page 2 <br /> 3310 & 3330 E.
