Note: N/A = Not Applicable, N, _ - Not Tested <br />SECTION 9 FIRE AND EXPLOSION INFORMATION <br />Flammable limits: Not applicable. <br />Extinguishing media: Water fog, carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical <br />Special firefighting procedures: Self contained breathing apparatus is required. <br />11 SECTION 10 REACTIVITY INFORMATION <br />Stability: Stable under ordinary conditions of use and storage. <br />Incompatibility: Avoid all materials not compatible with strong alkali! This material may react with strong acids and <br />strong oxidizers. Avoid contact with aluminum, tin, zinc, and alloys of these metals. Avoid contact with nitrocarbons and <br />halocarbons. As with all strong alkalis, in the presence of moisture this product may react with metals to form flammable <br />hydrogen gas. CONSULT A RECOGNIZED CHEMICAL REFERENCE IF COMPATIBILITY IS UNKNOWN OR IN <br />QUESTION. <br />Hazardous Decomposition Products: oxides of carbon <br />SECTION 11 <br />HANDLING PRECAUTIONS <br />Local exhaust should be maintained to control vapor level. <br />Eye wash fountains in the work place are strongly recommended. <br />Rubber gloves, indirect ventilation goggles, body -protective clothing, and rubber safety shoes are required. <br />A comprehensive respiratory protection program is needed when respirators must be used. <br />When misting can occur, a NIOSH approved respirator is recommended. <br />11 SECTION 12 SATISFACTORY MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION 11 <br />Tested Satisfactory Materials <br />Polypropylene <br />Teflon <br />Polyethylene - low density <br />Polyethylene - high density <br />Van leer epoxy liner 136 <br />Polyethylene - crosslink <br />NOTE: With respect to all other materials not listed above, user should be aware that use of such materials with BUSPERSE 2019 may be hazardous and <br />result in damages to such materials and other property and personal injuries. No data concerning such materials not listed above should be implied by the user. <br />11 SECTION 13 SPILL, LEAK, AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES <br />SPILL AND LEAK RESPONSE GUIDELINES <br />Important: Before responding to a spill or leak of this product, review each section of this MSDS. Follow the <br />recommendations given in the Handling Precautions sections. Check the Fire and Explosion Data section to determine if <br />the use of non -sparking tools is merited. Insure that spilled or leaked product does not come into contact with materials <br />listed as incompatible.
