On June 1, 2012, ETIC Engineering, Inc., on behalf of PG&E, obtained verification
measurements of the containment structures around the production fluid storage tanks C-30 at
Turner Cut and Whiskey Slough Stations. The volume of the containment structures were
recalculated using these newly obtained measurements. Based on these calculations, the
containment structures around the production fluid storage tank (C-30) at the Turner Cut
Station and Whiskey Slough Station have an estimated capacity of 29,744 and 30,704 gallons,
respectively. Therefore, the containment structures around production fluid storage tank C-30
at Turner Cut and Whiskey Slough Stations are adequate to accommodate 100 percent of the
capacity of production fluids tank (26,700 gallons) and an estimated 25-year 24-hour storm
precipitation of approximately 2.6 inches. As such, modification of the containment structures
around production fluid storage tank C-30 at Turner Cut and Whiskey Slough Stations, as
recommended in the September 2010 SPCC Plan is not required.
Professional Engineer Certification
This addendum to the September 2010 SPCC plan for the McDonald Island
Underground Natural Storage Facility was prepared based on information provided by
PG&E and ETIC Engineering, Inc.'s inspection of the production fluid storage tank at
Turner Cut and Whiskey Slough Stations on June 1, 2012.
Karthika Thurairajah, PE (ETIC Engineering, Inc.)
Printed Name of Registered Professional Engineer
  iQlla
Signature of Registered Professional Engineer Date
Registration No.: C 73394 State: CA
Q(LOFESs/
THLf
a
C73 94 m
* EXP. /
cin-
grFOFCg1Fa
McDonald Island underground Natural Gas Storage Facility
Addendum and Explanation to the September 2010 SPCC Plan June 2012
