The State will not require third-party evaluation reports <br /> far interstitial monitors until such time as a standard procedure for evaluating <br /> interstitial monitors has been issued or approved by EPA. All interstitial <br /> monitors being used most meet the performance specified by the manufacturer. <br /> .,. Manufacturers kho plan to have their underground storage tank and pipeline leak <br /> detection equipment used in the State shall submit all the information specified <br /> on Enclosure 1 to the State Board for review. <br /> Enclosure 2 lists the leak detection methods and equipment for which the State <br /> Board staff has completed its review. Enclosure 3 contains Condensed information <br /> from third-party evaluation reports and additional state requirements, if <br /> applicable. It is our opinion that the testing equipment listed meets the EPA <br /> performance standards se# forth in 40 LFR 280.40 if used in accordance with the <br /> procedures and limitations set forth in the third-party evaluation report and <br /> Enclosure 3.
