Indicated on the map are the approximate
locations of underground fuel storage tanks indicated by Port Stockton Food personnel during a site visit
,) conducted by Western Geologic Resources, Inc. (WGR) personnel at the end of January 1990. Two
:s
diesel tanks and one gasoline tank were identified. Also indicated on the map are the proposed
locations for additional wells, which WGR had planned to install prior to obtaining information
concerning the underground tanks. WGR will re-evaluate plans for future work based on this
information. WGR will attempt to find locations for additional wells in order to best define the
subsurface conditions given the limited access at the Apache facility.
Your help at this site is greatly appreciated. I am sure that we can work together to establish
rr.3:. "
a plan for the site. I am forwarding a copy of the Subsurface Investigation Report, dated November
1989, to Tom Peltier at the Regional Water Quality Control Board. Please call me if you have any
questions at (415)457-7595.
Sincerely,
Western Geologic Resources, Inc.
7
Kathleen A.
