As built diagrams of the <br /> proposed design of the injection wells and monitoring wells are included as Figures 3 <br /> and 4 . <br /> WELL INSTALLATION REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> A report documenting the findings of the well installations and development will be <br /> prepared following performance of field work . The report will include a description of <br /> work performed and the results of sampling and analysis . Conclusions and <br /> recommendations will also be included , if applicable in the report. All reports will be in a <br /> format acceptable to the EHD and CVRWQCB , and will be reviewed and signed by a <br /> California Professional Geologist. <br /> FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of <br /> a California Professional Geologist. Procedures for well installation and completion and <br /> well development are described below . <br /> BORING ADVANCEMENT <br /> Utilizing a truck- or track-mounted , hollow-stem drill rig equipped with 8 . 25-inch <br /> diameter hollow-stem augers , three (3) pilot borings will be advanced to 55 feet bsg <br /> (shallow monitoring) and three pilot soil borings will be advanced to approximately 120 <br /> feet bsg (deep injection [2] and monitoring [1 ]) . Soil samples will not be collected during <br /> the installation . <br /> WELL COMPLETION <br /> The pilot soil borings will be completed as shallow and deep monitoring and deep <br /> injection wells utilizing two-inch diameter, Schedule 40 PVC blank well casing and <br /> 0 . 020-inch slotted well screen . For shallow wells , screen will be installed from 40 to 55 <br /> feet bsg ; for deep wells , screen will be installed from 100 feet to 120 feet bsg . Diagrams <br /> of the proposed wells are depicted in Figures 3 and 4 . <br /> After installing the well casing in each pilot boring , a filter pack material consisting of <br /> pre-washed #3 Lonestar sand will be added through the augers from total depth to <br /> approximately two feet above the screened interval . Following placement of the filter <br /> pack, the well will be surged to assist in settling the filter pack .
