New facility plan review fee of $712.00 (8 hour minimum per facility), $500.00 facility <br /> fee (includes one tank), $125.00 per tank after the first tank, plus $10.00 state <br /> surcharge fee per tank is due at time of plan submittal plus $17.50 per site state <br /> surcharge. <br /> b. New installation of an additional tank at an existing facility is $712.00 plan review fee (8 <br /> hour minimum per facility) plus $500.00 facility (includes one tank), $125.00 per new <br /> tank after first tank, and $10.00 per new tank state surcharge fee. <br /> C. It should be noted that a $712.00 plan review check fee required for each submittal <br /> allows for up to eight (8) hours of staff review and/or inspection time. Additional time <br /> spent on plan review, meetings, inspections, phone or office consultations will be billed <br /> to the applicant at a rate of $89.00 per hour. <br /> d. The maximum review time for UST installation plans is 40 working days. A preliminary <br /> review will be conducted by the EHD within 20 working days of submittal date to identify <br /> any gross plan deficiencies. <br /> e. If gross deficiencies are identified, the plans will be returned with a checklist identifying <br /> plan deficiencies. <br /> f. To expedite the review of installation plans, time and a half per hour overtime fee may <br /> be submitted to have review completed within 10 working days of submittal date if staff <br /> is available to perform the review. <br /> 3. PI AN R VE_ IEW CLID LINES <br /> a. The enclosed plan review sheet is to be completed and submitted with the three sets of <br /> drawings to EHD. <br /> b. A copy of the California UST Regulations may be obtained from the California State <br /> Water Resources Control Board at (916) 227-4303. <br /> C. Permits and/or plan check approval may also be required by the San Joaquin Valley <br /> Unified Air Pollution Control District, the County/City Building Department and the Fire <br /> District in your respective area. <br /> d. A minimum of 3 inspections will be conducted on the UST system installation. An $89 <br /> per hour inspection fee shall be charged for additional inspections or reinspection as <br /> required. (See required inspections below) <br /> e. Applicant/contractor to adhere to the approval plan and any change or deviation shall <br /> be reported to and approved by EHD prior to installation. <br /> f. The application for installation of underground tanks is only valid for the calendar year <br /> in which it has been issued. A permit may be extended into the next calendar year if a <br /> 2 <br />
