Work Plan for Treatment System Installation - Former Chevron Station #95775, Lodi, CA
May 12, 2000
GR has completed the vapor extraction pilot test, and will continue to pump groundwater from well EX -I
on weekly basis. Construction of the treatment system and compound will commence immediately upon
receipt of the appropriate City of Lodi, SJVUAPCD, and CalTrans permits.
The purpose of this groundwater extraction and treatment system is to removed hydrocarbons from the core
of the dissolved hydrocarbon plume beneath the site. To destroy remaining concentrations of dissolved
hydrocarbons (TPHg, BTEX, MTBE), Secor International Inc. has proposed installation of an oxygen
diffusion barrier. This barrier will consist of eight wells installed along the southern and southwestern
property boundaries. Secor discusses the details regarding locations of the proposed wells and the oxygen
diffusion system in their Addendum to April 27, 2000 Work Plan for Remedial Well Installation and
Additional Site Assessment (project 077.41991.500, dated April 28, 2000), previously submitted to you and
the RWQCB.
Please call us at 916.631.1300 if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Gettler-Ryan Inc.
Stephen J.
