Chevron Products Company 9 <br />Chevron Statton #9 5775, 301 W Kettlem in Line Lodi CA - August 25 2000 <br />approved by the City of Lodi Building Department, showing system elevations and <br />details is included in Attachment F <br />IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS <br />Remediation System Operation, Security, and Reporting <br />The remediation systems will be operated until remediation goals are achieved or until <br />such time as the remediation effort is shown to no longer be technically or economically <br />feasible Throughout the life of the system, operations will be monitored monthly at a <br />minimum to verify permit compliance and to meet permit reporting requirements <br />Remediation equipment will be secured by a locked gate and surrounding compound <br />Groundwater monitoring and sampling will continue to be performed at the site on a <br />quarterly basis as required <br />An evaluation of remedial system performance will be included In Qual lerly Renledicrttorl <br />Summary Reports System efficiency reporting will include summaries of mass <br />extracted, mass extraction rates, and any modifications to system operation, which may <br />have changed mass extraction rates Groundwater concentrations will be compared to <br />groundwater remediation goals to evaluate the progress toward termination of <br />remediation at the site and to verify that the MtBE plume is being contained Influent <br />groundwater and soil vapor concentrations will used to evaluate the progress of <br />remediation of impacted soils and to determine when operation of the S VE and GWE <br />systems are no longer technically or economically feasible <br />PROPOSED SCHEDULE <br />SECOR proposes the following schedule for startup of extraction well MW -14 and <br />performance of a capture zone evaluation Once the capture zone evaluation is complete <br />and the data is evaluated, SECOR will prepare an Addendum to the Final Remediation <br />Plan that either verifies that wells EX -1 and MW -14 are sufficient to contain the MtBE <br />plume at the site or proposes additional extraction wells and aquifer testing to contain <br />the MtBE plume Upon receipt of FRP approval from RWQCB, SECOR proposes the <br />following schedule <br />soope Of Work <br />From FRP Approv4l <br />Startup of Extraction Well MW -14 <br />2 weeks <br />Additional Capture Zone Evaluation <br />4 weeks <br />Data Evaluation and Submittal of Addendum <br />to Final Remediation Plan <br />6 weeks <br />077 41991 043/FRP <br />
