s � i <br />SECOR <br />Intel national lncolporale(l <br />R) <br />March 8, 2001 <br />Project 077 43452 550 <br />Mr Richard C Prima, Jr <br />City of Lodi Public Works Director <br />221 West Pine Street <br />Lodi, CA <br />RE Discharge Report for February 2001 <br />Former Chevron #9-5775 <br />301 West Kettleman Lane <br />Lodi, California <br />Cleanup and Abatement Order No 5-00-704 <br />Wastewater Discharge Permit #295 <br />Dear Mr Prima <br />SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR), on behalf of Chevron Products Company <br />(Chevron), presents operating data for the groundwater extraction (GWE) system at the <br />site referenced above (Figures I and 2) Chevron discharges treated groundwater at the <br />subject site under City of Lodi Wastewater Discharge Pen -nit #295 <br />Extraction and treatment of groundwater was initiated on July 3, 2000 The GWE <br />system extracts groundwater from site wells EX -1, MW-14/EX-2, and EX -3 Extracted <br />groundwater is routed through a particulate filter, then three 2,000 -pound liquid phase <br />activated carbon vessels (A, B, and C) plumbed in series A treatment system schematic <br />is shown on Figure 3 <br />Summary of GWE System Operation <br />Samples were collected from the influent port midpoint I (between the first and second <br />carbon vessels), midpoint 2 (between the second and third carbon vessels), and the <br />effluent port on February 8, 16, 21, and 28, 2001 During these sampling events, total <br />petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, xylenes (BTEX <br />compounds), di -isopropyl ether (DIPE), methanol, were not detected in influent, <br />midpoint 1, midpoint 2, or effluent samples <br />Maximum influent concentrations of MtBE, tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), ethyl tertiary <br />butyl ether (EtBE), and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME) were reported as 3,500 ug/l, <br />72 ug/l, 160 ug/l, 24 ug/l, respectively MtBE, TBA, and ethanol were reported in <br />midpoint 1 at maximum concentrations of 5 0 ug/l, 6 0 ug/l, and 8 8 ug/l, respectively <br />• No petroleum hydrocarbons or fuel oxygenates were reported in midpoint 2 samples <br />1225 Porn Atenue 1ur1cI1i1 ,Ilowiletin lrur ! 19 -O -i3 650 691 0131 650 691 9837 Pick rrruu Ncioi conn <br />
