AMMONIA RELEASE/HAZARDOUS MATERIAL SPILL/EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN TRAINING <br /> Initial discussions immediately following the June 27`"incident to gain detail of employee understanding <br /> of roles and responsibilities in a release/spill situation and emergency action plan. Conversations <br /> concerning these roles and responsibilities have continued and finalized with a formal training. <br /> Formalized training will be initiated upon completion of our three evacuation station enhancements and <br /> training outline is as follows: <br /> 1. Location of potential spills/releases: NH3,Ammonium Hydroxide (Aqua Ammonia), Oils, Fuels, <br /> UAN32, Propane <br /> 2. What to do if there is a spill: Go through each bullet item by asking what they must do,correct <br /> and support their knowledge as needed. <br /> 3. Discussion on what to do if there is a release of NH3 or Aqua Ammonia: Safely identify the <br /> location of the release and the severity and remediate if possible, call plant manager, Dale <br /> Thigpin,who is the emergency coordinator,and call Port Police as per CALAMCO policy. <br /> 4. Confirm with them the multiple ways they can currently reach the Port Police. <br /> 5. Discuss in detail the role of the emergency coordinator and the 3 agencies that must be called if <br /> we have reached the reportable quantity,what the reportable quantity is and why this is <br /> important. <br /> 6. Discuss the phone numbers to all of the emergency coordinators located on the emergency <br /> action site map in the control room. <br /> 7. Discuss every item in the emergency evacuation stations,their importance and value, and the <br /> proper protocol for gathering at a designated station should there be a need to do so. <br /> 8. Review the clipboard and worksheet located at each evacuation station and express the need to <br /> document information using this outline which includes headcounts, names,company names if <br /> contractors are present, and response teams. <br /> 9. Discuss new keypad entry/exit at the UAN32 gate entrance and why this is important. <br /> 10.
