Frank C. Alegre Trucking, Inc.
Lodi, California
January 25, .1991
5. REMEDIAL ACTION RECOMMENDATION
4
Correct analysis of a site is critical to the
success of the remediation protect. Evaluating the geologic
setting to understand how the contamination spreads and
knowing what the properties of the contaminant are makes a
complex subsurface contamination problem treatable. A Phase
I and Phase II investigation have been ',',,completed.
Pursuant to the review of available data, addition borings
or monitoring well testing are not required in order to
adequately evaluate the site. The data shows that the water
table has not been impacted. Additional investigation
beyond that of Phase II is not necessary at this site. As a .;
result of this investigation the following is recommended.
1. It is recommended that the monitoring wells installed
during this Phase II investigation be destroyed pursuant to
the guidelines of EHD.
2. Following an approved remediation of the Phase I
excavated soils, the site is recommended for closure.
i
I
GeoPlas Consulting Services
Page - 15
I
