�"lt'�1<C�FM:Ne�tiCE LTki <br /> 3L� <br /> January 3, 1989 <br /> Charles Hunt <br /> San Joaquin Local Health District <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P.O.Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Dear Mr. Hunt: <br /> Attached is chronology of events on the tanks removed at the <br /> the Tri/Valley Growers Plant K facility located at A & B Weber <br /> Street, Stockton. <br /> April 7, 1986 : Tom Vogel informed Laurie Cotulla. of <br /> Tri/Valley Grower's intention of removing the 1 ,000 gallon <br /> underground gasoline tank. The letter also included <br /> information of a Beta and Associates monitoring well. (Refer <br /> to ATTACHMENT 1) <br /> April 29, 1986: Laurie Cotulla issued instruction on water <br /> sampling, soil borings and sampling, closure in--place and <br /> deed notification. (Refer to ATTACHMENT 2) <br /> May 13, 1986: Tom Vogel submitted permits for the <br /> monitoring well and sample holes. (Refer to ATTACHMENT 3) <br /> May 29, 1986 : The monitoring well was analyzed for BTX and <br /> GC/FID hydrocarbons. Results show none detected. (Refer to <br /> ATTACHMENT 4) <br /> June 11, 1986: Tom Vogel was instructed to remove more soil <br /> in the excavation until contamination its not detected. A <br /> composite sample of the soil removed was analyzed and the <br /> results show lead at 29.2 mg/kg. and FID hydrocarbon- <br /> gasoline at 206 ppm. (Refer to ATTACHMENT 5) <br /> June 16, 1986: More soil was removed in the excavation. A <br /> composite sample of the soil removed was analyzed and the <br /> results show no detection of BTX, no detection in the FID <br /> hydrocarbon scan and 7. 27 mg/kg of lead. (Refer to <br /> ATTACHMENT 6 . Verbal instructions were made to Tom Vogel <br /> that removal of the contamination was complete and the <br /> excavated soil had to be disposed of as a hazardous material <br /> because of gasoline and lead contamination. <br /> June 26, 1986: The contaminated soil was hauled to <br /> International Technology Corporation under Manifest # <br /> 86289776 and 84681073. (Refer to Attachment 7) <br /> An affadavit of Disclosure was provided by Tri/Valley <br /> Growers to the new owner to be recorded in the deed. <br />
