Foothill Engineering did a site
investigation to determine the vertical and horizontal extent of the gasoline contamination on
8/13/1998 and 812111998.
Geomatrix installed the monitoring well GMX-1 at a ocation+1-25 feet south of the UST excavation
and sampled first groundwater. Geomatrix also made three soil Borings (GB#1, GB#2,and GB-#3)
with both soil samples and groundwater samples extr xted. All samples on GB#1,GB#2,and GB#3
were non-detect for all compounds analyzed.
The work plan of 5124199 called for the installation of three soil borings to be located on the Sun
West Liquor property.and the possible installation of a fourth soil boring on the south side of
Kettleman Lane. Soil samples were to be extracted at predetermined depths for laboratory analysis.
A monitoring well to sample ground water was to be constructed in each of the soil borings.
Groundwater sampling quarterly events have occ ed from 7112199 to 05131105.
On January 28, 2002, ACT Inc. performed a pump test on a 15" extraction well with a 6" PVC
casing. The report for this pump test has been supplied as part of a Final Remedial Plan.
Gregg Drilling installed CPT#1 to a depth of 90 fee with soil and groundwater sampling to a depth
of 78 feet on March 3, 2003. Three samples of soil and three samples of the groundwater were
extracted and analyzed. All CPT soil and groundwater samples were analyzed as non-detect.
