. Five water level probes
• Generator
' • Total flow meter
• Totalizer
' • Discharge hose
• Gas cans
' Materials List
• Two disposable bailers
' Brass Tubes (4)
• Masking tape
• Table and chair
' • Cable to secure pump
• Extension cords
• Gloves
i • Sample ice chest and containers (groundwater and carbon)
• Barricades and cones
' GROUNDWATER EXTRACTION TEST
On January 29, 2002 Alex and John will mobilize to the site in the morning. The Baker tank is
scheduled for deliver to the site at 0700. The activated carbon is scheduled for deliver in the
morning on January 29, 2002. Either Alex or John should try and get there around 0700, so
' need to do most of the prep the afternoon before.
January 29, 2002
' a Be there for Baker tank delivery around 0700.
• Unlock all wells and allow groundwater levels to equilibrate.
' Set up barricades around wells and set up table in drive-up lane.
• Collect a groundwater sample from the extraction well prior to test (no purging required).
• Install pump into well.
' Set up test and get started hopefully by 0900 to 0930.
• Do a drum inventory of the site and collect one 4-tube composite soil sample from the
drummed soil cuttings. Submit soil sample to Argon Labs for analysis of TPHg, BTEX,
' seven oxygenates, and total lead on a standard turnaround time.
• Once the test has begun, John will deliver the groundwater sample collected from the
extraction well to Argon for immediate analysis. Deliver soil sample too on standard
' turnaround time. John will then go to Stockton and mark Franklin for USA and return to --
Lodi to help Alex finish the pump test.
t Identify the sewer discharge point to be used after the water has been remediated. There
is suppose to be a stormwater discharge point and a sewer discharge point inside the
remediation compound area (installed by the developer).
• Do a step test to determine maximum sustainable flowrate.
1
