' T
READWELL & ROLLO
' for the analyses requested. The s
. Q amples were labeled and placed into an ice-cooled
' chest for delivery to the analytical laboratory using chain-of-custody procedures.
' 5.0 ANALYTICAL TEST RESULTS
' The soil and groundwater samples from the monitoring well were analyzed for the
following constituents: total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (EPA 8015 Modified) and
' benzene, toluene, xylenes, and ethylbenzene (EPA Test Method 8020). The certified
laboratory reports containing the analytical results and the method reporting limits are
' presented in Appendix B.
' The analytical results from our previous Hydropunch sampling and from the samples
collected from MW-1 are summarized on Table 1. No diesel, benzene, toluene,
' ethylbenzene or xylenes (BTEX) were detected at or above the method reporting limit in
the soil sample collected at the groundwater interface. Diesel was detected in the
groundwater sample collected from monitoring well MW-1 at a concentration of 0 1
milligrams per liter (mg/L) or parts per million (ppm); however, no BTEX constituents
were detected at or above the method reporting limit. These results correlate with the
results from the Hydropunch sampling where trace levels of diesel were detected an HP-1
' and HP-2 (Figure 2) at 0 2 and 0.4 ppm, respectively.
1
6
11070707 PJC
18 November 1993
