Field Methods and Procedures <br /> 6.2 Groundwater Sampling Procedures <br /> After the collection of soil samples, a direct-push drilling rig will be advanced to groundwater. A <br /> temporary 1-inch polyvinyl chloride screen will be placed in the boring,and groundwater <br /> samples will be collected using a disposal bailer and placed into new pre-cleaned, certified <br /> sampling containers. Water samples will be placed in coolers and chilled with ice to VC for <br /> storage and shipping to the analytical laboratory. <br /> Duplicate groundwater samples will be collected in the same manner and two sets of sample <br /> containers will be filled. Groundwater samples will be collected in accordance with the following <br /> standard operating procedures contained in Appendix D of the TBA SAP: <br /> • Ecology and Environment, Inc. SOP#ENV 3.3: Borehole Sampling <br /> • Ecology and Environment, Inc.
