Additional Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> RALPH SQUARE-BUI <br /> 2122 South Airport Way, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms. Kimberly Hoang,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE)has prepared the <br /> enclosed Site Assessment Work Plan for the property located at 2122 South Airport Way, Stockton, <br /> California. The scope of work includes advancement of one off-site soil boring for collection of soil <br /> and grab ground water samples. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1.A plan of the site <br /> is illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is included in Appendix A. <br /> This Work Plan is prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) by a letter dated 14 October 2008 and in accordance with the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the subsurface investigation of <br /> Underground Storage Tank (UST) sites. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based upon the analytical results of soil and ground water samples collected in past investigations <br /> (Appendix A), the EHD has required further investigation to determine the lateral extent of <br /> hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water east of ground water monitoring well MW-5. One <br /> probe boring will be advanced off-site for the collection of soil and grab ground water samples.The <br /> scope of work will consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Soil probe boring advancement; <br /> • Soil and grab ground water sample collection; <br /> • Laboratory analysis of samples; <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings. <br /> 2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the EHD and access agreements or an <br /> encroachment permit will be obtained. An updated health and safety plan will be prepared in <br /> accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site <br /> Activities(National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Administration,U.S. Coast Guard <br /> and U.S.Environmental Protection Agency, 1985).Prior to mobilization,the area of excavation will <br /> be clearly marked and a utility clearance will be obtained through Underground Service Alert. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
