9� <br />Earthgrains Baking Companies, Incorporated <br />2651 South Airport Way <br />Stockton, California 95206 <br />Page 2 <br />March 17, 2008 <br />The EHD approves the addendum as submitted and notes the following: <br />• One discrete soil sample will be collected at approximately 23 feet from CPT -4 to be <br />analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons. quantified as gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, <br />toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX); methyl tertiary -butyl ether <br />(MTBE), ethyl tertiary -butyl ether (ETBE), di -isopropyl ether (DIPS), tertiary amyl - <br />methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), and 1,2-dichloroethane <br />(1,2 -DCA). <br />• Soil samples will not be collected from CPT -5 to vertically delineate hydrocarbon <br />contamination at the source area. Soil samples may be collected following review of <br />data generated during this investigation. <br />• Two soil samples will be collected from CPT -6 at approximately 30 and 35 feet bsg <br />and analyzed for the same analyses listed above to laterally delineate hydrocarbon <br />contamination north of the former gasoline underground storage tank (UST) <br />excavation. Additional soil samples may be collected following review of the data <br />generated during this investigation. <br />Please submit a boring permit application and permit fee of $89 to the EHD by March 21, <br />2008. The EHD has been notified that fieldwork has been tentatively scheduled for March <br />26 through 28, 2008.
