<br />• Advancement of seven cone penetrometer testing (CPT) borings
<br />to characterize the lithology and assess the vertical extent
<br />of impacted soil; six of the CPT borings, including an
<br />additional borehole located adjacent to the sump as discussed
<br />between Mark Milward at Philip Services Corporation (PSC) and
<br />Vicki McCartney at San Joaquin County Environmental Health
<br />Department (EHD) on May 28, 2004,.will be advanced to
<br />approximately 35 feet below ground surface (bgs); one CPT
<br />boring, located near the former underground storage tanks,
<br />will be advanced to approximately 100 feet bgs to characterize
<br />hydrogeology, lithology, and model potential contaminant
<br />migration pathways. (Borehole, B-3, will be advanced at its
<br />originally proposed location.)
<br />• Collection of five soil samples at depths of 15, 20, 25, 30,
<br />and 35 feet bgs in borings B-1, B-3, B-4, B-5, B-6, and B-7.
<br />• Collection of five soil samples at depths of 10, 15, 20, 30,
<br />and 35 feet bgs in boring B-2.
