2651 South Airport Way <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />A <br />• Analysis of at least two soil samples from each boring; <br />analytical data will be used to estimate the mass of residual <br />petroleum hydrocarbon impact in the vadose zone. <br />• Collection of groundwater samples in boreholes B-1, B-3, and <br />B-6, at depths of 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 feet bgs unless CPT <br />data support collecting groundwater samples at different <br />depths where sand -unit intervals are detected. <br />• Collection of a groundwater sample from the irrigation well <br />located on an adjacent parcel, pending access agreement <br />granted by the property owner. <br />• Collection of groundwater samples from every well during the <br />next groundwater -monitoring event; then propose a monitoring <br />and sampling program detailing which wells to sample and the <br />sampling frequency for each well, based on site data and the <br />monitoring objectives. <br />• Analysis of groundwater and soil samples for: total petroleum <br />hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene, ethyl <br />benzene, total xylenes (BTEX); methyl tertiary -butyl ether <br />(MTBE), tertiary -butyl alcohol (TBA), diisopropyl ether <br />-(DIPE), ethyl tertiary -butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary -amyl <br />methyl ether (TAME), 1,2-dich6roethane (1,2 -DCA), and 1,2- <br />dibromoethane (EDB). <br />COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br />• A boring permit application has already been submitted to EHD. <br />•EHD has been notified that the fieldwork will begin on June <br />21, 2004. <br />• Submit a site-specific health and safety plan to EHD prior to <br />commencement of the fieldwork. <br />• Provide EHD a copy of any access agreement prior to collection <br />of groundwater samples from any offsite property. <br />REASONS FOR DISAPPROVAL OF <br />25296.10(c)(3)): <br />• None. <br />DATED: June 1, 2004 BY: j/ G <br />Victoria L.
