File No. 2070-2
22 January 1988
i
San Joaquin Local Health District
1601 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA
Attention: David Carls
Subject: Rainbo Baking Company
Stockton, California
MONITORING WELL PERMITS
Dear David:
Following up on our telephone conversation, we are submitting a
monitoring well application for the two new monitoring wells at
the subject facility. You will find attached to this letter the
application form, a check for $35, and a sketch of our proposed
well construction. The back of the application form shows the
proposed well locations.
The locations are based on the groundwater gradient in ESE
consultants phase II report, which I understand from John DeSelm
has been sent to you. The new wells will be numbers 4 and 5, 4
being down gradient and 5 being upgradient. Our plan is to
complete the determination of the zero line of contamination with
these two wells, since existing wells 2 and 3 were clean and
determined the zero line across the gradient.
We currently are planning to install the new wells on Wednesday,
F'P January 1988. We will call a day ahead of time to arrange for
an inspection. If you have any questions regarding any of this,
please call the undersigned.
Thank you for your assistance.
Very truly yours,
ANDERSON GEOTECHNICAL CONSULTANTS, INC.
Job )r.
