�} 1 INTRODUCTION <br /> 1 PSC Environmental Services (PSC) subcontracted ETIC Engineering (ETIC) to <br /> perform the quarterly groundwater-monitoring activities at the Earthgrains Baking <br /> Companies, Inc (Earthgrains) facility The fourth quarterly event was performed on <br /> November 10, 2005 This report summarizes the results of those activities This <br /> report also includes current and historical summary tables (1 through 6) and figures (1 <br />' through 6) This quarterly report is being submitted to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) Copies of the report have been <br /> submitted to the Central Valley Region of the California Regional Water Quality <br />' Control Board (CVRWQCB), and to the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Clean-Up <br /> Fund of the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) <br />' 1.1 Site Description <br /> The project site is located at 2651 South Airport Way in Stockton, California <br /> (Figure 1) The plant straddles Sections 22 and 23 of Township 1 North, <br /> Range 6 East of the Mount Diablo Base and Meridian The Earthgrains <br /> ' facility is a bakery products plant formerly known as the Rainbo Baking <br /> Company <br /> The developed portion of the site consists of approximately seven acres, <br /> which is relatively flat, and is primarily covered with asphalt and concrete <br /> The main facility building covers approximately two acres Several shallow <br /> (less than three-foot deep) water lines, electrical lines, and storm-water sewer <br /> lines transect the property <br /> ' A storm-water drainage ditch (approximately 1,000 feet long and less than <br /> five feet deep) extends westerly from the southwestern side of the facility <br /> towards a south-flowing drainage canal This canal empties into the <br /> ' ephemeral Duck Creek, which is located about 900 feet south of the plant <br /> Duck Creek is typically dry except during periods of higher precipitation <br /> 1.2 Chronology of UST-Related Events <br /> ' The facility once operated four petroleum-hydrocarbon UST systems, which <br /> consisted of a 10,000-gallon diesel tank and two 6,000-gallon gasoline tanks <br /> located near the southwestern corner of the main plant building (shown in <br /> ' Figure 2) A 20,000-gallon diesel tank was located on the eastern side of the <br /> facility (not shown) <br /> The two gasoline UST systems near the southwestern building corner were <br /> removed in April 1987 The eastern-most gasoline UST system had <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Morutonng Report � <br /> 4th Quarter-November 2005 <br /> Prepared for SARA LEE BAKERY GROUP,INC Prepared by PSC Environmental Services <br /> Investigative and Quarterly Report 14th Quarterly Report 112005 doe February 24,2006 <br />
