(Versar) is pleased to present a copy of the Preliminary Assessment/Site <br />Investigation (PA/SI) Update Report for the subject California Army National Guard (CARNG) <br />facility (Site). The PA/SI Update Report presents the findings of our field investigation <br />perfonned during February 2004. <br />Based on the findings of the investigation, a removal action is now funded and under <br />development for the CSMS pavement upwelling areas and a suspect CS burial Site. The removal <br />action is expected to lead to closure of these two Sites. Additionally, further investigation will <br />likely be required at the OMS fonner vehicle fueling station.
