Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Mike Infurna [EH]
Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2005 1:43 PM
To: 'Marcus Pierce'
Subject: RE: PA/SI Update Report for California Army National Guard Facility in Stockton
I can wait too, but think about this please ... on my other UST sites with CVRWQCB
interests/SLIC/DOD/etc there also, it's been the practice to transfer ALL oversight to the
BOARD... The SWRCB doesn't want us to 'overwhelm' the RP with multiple regulator
involvement. In the past, active SLIC/WQ/DOD sites with UST (LOP-SWRCB) investigation
ongoing have had you folks take over ALL regulatory lead. (ie: Devra, Tim O'Brien, Amy
Terrell, etc) ... the question? with you/CVRWQCB and EHD on these US Army sites, and no
lateral contaminant plume definition completed or done in most areas, I was hoping you
could check to see if you can lead on the whole site, UST investigation at AAFS and OMS
too? This large report VERSAR sent in is leaning to NFA on practically all of the
areas... but I can wait til next month too. Tim Berger just called me with permitting
questions (sounds like he's planning on drilling soon, so I thought you should know my
thoughts.
no rush to get back to me..It'll take Tim a while to submit all the right papers..
-----Original Message -----
From: Marcus Pierce [mailto:mpierce@waterboards.ca.gov]
Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2005 1:00 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: PA/SI Update Report for California Army National GuardFacility
in Stockton
Hi Mike,
I got your message about the new Update Report. I
until next month, so I can't give you any feedback
on July 1 and I will be taking a look at the report
reviewed it.
Marcus L. Pierce
Engineering Geologist
CVRWQCB
916-464-4733
have no funding to review this report
right now. Our new fiscal year starts
then. Will call you after I have
[MY EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED TO: mpierce@waterboards.ca.gov]
1
