As rioted in the appended report , the water levels shown on the County maps is the hydrostatic, head level of the aquifers in the area and does not necessarily represent the level that water might either be found or not Bund if these aquifers are separated from the near surface deposits by aquicludes . F'igUX; C- 2 shows the water levels for the fall of 1986. These data indicate that conditions were about the same as in 1990 with a water level of about plus 151 . Figure 3 shows the water levels for the spring of 1983, a recent year of high water levels . This map shows that the groundwater head was about plus 20' at that time, indicating that it would rise to within 5 ' of the surface. These data show that the vadose zone, it it is in hydraulic connection with the aquifers below about -1001 , where most of the local water wells are completed, could have been ex- tended by about 51 between 1983 and 1990, from 5.' below the surface to about 101 below the surface . This writer believes that to be true for the general area.; however, local conditions at the excavation site could be different . 00 CURRENT STATUS The site is as described in the attached report. No further on-site work has been done . Bids have been received for the baring of test wells and permits for these wells, are being prepared for submittal at the time of this writing. ©n-site activities cannot be started until this report of planned operations has been approved by the EHD. PROPOSED WORK A generalized safety operations plan for the project has been prepared and will be submitted along with the permit applications . The drilling contractor, Sgrectrum ,Exploration Co . , is expected to supply all necessary safety equipment for their crew and to have their own site-specific plan. Water Level and. The is not a surveyed map, however it was adapted from the ')wner ' s property map and it should be accurate .
