NATIONAL ADVERTISING COMPANY— ADDITIONAL SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION HEALTH AND SAFETYPLAN <br />to beginning work operations. The Site Supervisor or authorized representative has the authority to halt <br />any subcontractor operations, and to remove any subcontractor or subcontractor employee from the site <br />for failure to comply with established health and safety procedures or,for operating in an unsafe manner. <br />Appendix A provides Earth Tech's General Subcontractor Safety Rules, that will be observed by all <br />subcontractor organizations. <br />2.6 ONSITE PERSONNEL AND VISITORS <br />All personnel working for Earth Tech or .its subcontractors are required to read and acknowledge their <br />understanding of this HASP. All visitors to controlled areas of the site must also read and acknowledge <br />their understanding of this HASP. All personnel are expected to abide by its requirements and cooperate <br />with site supervision to ensure a safe and healthful work site. Personnel must immediately report any of <br />the following to the Site Supervisor or PM: <br />• Accidents and injuries, no matter how minor <br />• Unexpected or uncontrolled releases of any hazardous substances <br />• Any symptoms of exposure to -a hazardous substance <br />• Any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment <br />• Any changes in site conditions which may affect the health or safety of project personnel. <br />hslprojsuplcominachasp.doc 2-3 02/09/98 <br />
