L L %%go, <br />NATIONAL ADVERTISING COMPANY— ADDITIONAL SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br />PPE Requirements: Modified Level D ensemble (Section 8.2.2), each worker's respirator will be <br />+� located within the work area in the event that PPE upgrade is required based <br />upon results of on-site monitoring (see Table 7-2) <br />Air Monitoring <br />Requirements: As specified in Section 7.1 and Table 7-2 <br />5.1.2 Well Logging Activities <br />The characterization of subsurface soils from boring samples presents the potential for personnel to be <br />exposed to any of the potential site contaminants (see Section 5.2) both through skin contact and through <br />inhalation. To protect against this hazard, personnel will utilize PPE as specified below. <br />Since logging will occur concurrent with drilling operations, personnel will also observe the requirements <br />specified above. <br />Applicable Safe <br />Work Procedures: Hazardous Noise Environments (Section 6.2) <br />Heavy Machinery (Section 6.3) <br />Heat Stress (Section 6.5) <br />PPE Requirements: Modified Level D ensemble (see Section 8.2.2), respirator will be located within <br />the work areas in the event that PPE upgrade is required based upon drilling <br />activity hazards <br />Air Monitoring <br />Requirements: As specified in Section 7.1 and Table 7-2 <br />5.1.3 Soil Sample Collection/Handling <br />The collection and handling of soil samples presents the potential for personnel to be exposed to any of <br />$„ the potential site contaminants (see Section 5.2), primarily through skin contact.
