Site Health & Safety Plan UST Removal and Replacement
574 West Grantline Road
Tracy, CA
1.0 Introduction
This Site health and safety plan has been developed for the underground
storage tank (UST) removal and replacement actions to be taken at 574 West
Grantline Road in Tracy, CA. This plan is intended as a practical approach
to the activities in light of the potential occupational and public health
concerns. It is expected that site conditions may vary with weather and the
like. The requirements of this plan, including those for personal protective
equipment, may be upgraded or downgraded at any time at the discretion
of the Site Safety Officer as appropriate.
This plan will serve as a minimum guideline for protective measures for all
contractors and sub -contractors involved in the site activities. Individual
sub -contractors may elect to implement more stringent measures for their
own workers. Each contractor will provide health and safety equipment for
their own employees.
All on-site personnel, regulatory agency personnel, and visitors are expected
to be familiar with and comply with the provisions of this plan, including all
requirements for training and medical monitoring.
Prepared By: December 18, 1998
Environmental & Safety Resources Page 2
(510) 536-6444
