Site Health & Safety Plan UST Removal and Replacement
574 West Grantline Road
Tracy, CA
2.0 Site Background
Environmental and Safety Resources has developed this Site Health and
Safety plan in response to removal and replacement of UST's at 574 West
Grantline Road in Tracy, CA. The State of California requires that owners
of UST's remove existing tanks and replacing them with new and improved
tanks.
3.0 Scope of Operations
The work to be performed at 574 West Grantline Road in Tracy, CA during
this phase of the project will be performed by D&S Dragline and will
include heavy equipment operations to breakup the existing concrete caps
over the tanks, that will then allow for further operations to completely
remove the tanks. The tanks themselves during the removal operation will
be inerted to the county and local requirements. If contaminated soil is
found it will be aerated on site (see site map for location). Evergreen
Environmental has been designated as the contractor to conduct and
transport the rinseate material, used in preparing the tanks for removal.
Following the removal of the UST's the contractor will replace the tanks
with newer tanks, to meet the state requirements.
4.0 Key Personnel and Responsibilities
CL Bryant Inc.
