Site Health & Safety Plan UST Removal and Replacement
574 West Grantline Road
Tracy, CA
13.0 Medical Monitoring
All on-site personnel working in the Exclusion Zone will participate in a
medical monitoring program in compliance with 8 CCR 5192. This program
will include pre-employment, annual and post -employment screenings. All
subcontractors, visitors, and regulatory personnel who will enter the
Exclusion Zone are expected to participate in a medical program which
meets or exceeds these guidelines.
14.0 Site Control of Offsite Migration
During the removal operation the Site Safety Officer will consider the wind
speed and direction. In the event that the concentration of contaminates is
enough, so much, that the contaminates will affect the nearby business
operations, it is recommended that operations be stopped until
concentrations are controlled or reduced.
15.0 Excess Disposal
During the removal process at no time will contaminated soil or water leave
the site, unless it is in an approved container. All soil and water
contaminated shall be analyzed to determine their contents and
concentration, in the event that contamination exists proper disposal shall be
arranged that is consistent with county and state requirements. Any
removal of contaminated soil, other than soil that will be removed during
tank removal, is considered soil remediation and a work plan shall be
implemented.
Prepared By: December 18, 1998
Environmental & Safety Resources Page 12
(510) 536-6444
