A new drum was placed in the Cleaning <br /> Center next to the Alodine area. <br /> l O.The date that the drum became full was put on the lid and not on the label. <br /> Corrective action: Remind Bob Kennedy/Tony Badgett to place date <br /> that the drum became full on the label. <br /> I I.Central vacuum waste. Determine if it is a hazardous waste. <br /> Corrective action: Samples from each of the central vacuums were <br /> collected and sent to an outside lab. If analysis indicates a hazardous <br /> waste, it will be placed into a hazardous waste drum. If not, it will be <br /> disposed of in the regular trash. <br /> 12.Lab pack items are placed in the lockup area without knowing how long <br /> they are being stored there. <br /> Corrective Action: The Lab Pack Form was revised to include a <br /> column requesting the date that the waste was put into the lockup area. <br /> (See attached Lab Pack Form) <br /> 13.Items are being stored on top of flammable cabinets. Inspectors noticed the <br /> one in Bldg. 1 A and the one in Bldg. 6 next to the large autoclave. <br /> Corrective action: Item on top of Bldg. 1A flammable cabinet was <br /> removed. Purchase flammable cabinet. Once the flammable cabinet <br /> arrives, the mold release waste container will be removed from the top <br /> of the flammable cabinet in Bldg. 6 and placed inside the new <br /> flammable cabinet. <br /> 14.Concem about not segregating the lab pack items by compatibility <br /> Corrective action: Lab pack items will be segregated according to <br /> compatibility. Shelves will be labeled by hazard class. <br />
