APPLIED <br /> AEROSPACE <br /> Lll�a A ,) STRUCTURES <br /> CORP. <br /> A red can of solvent wipes was observed open in the Metal Bond Layup area. <br /> The red can of solvent wipes was closed in the presence of the inspectors on July 11, <br /> 2011. <br /> 28. According to Mr. Kitagawa, the containers in the satellite accumulation areas are <br /> being inspected quarterly. Inspection logs for daily inspections were provided for <br /> the containers in the Hazardous Waste Storage area. <br /> Satellite accumulation area inspections will go from quarterly to weekly using the <br /> Weekly Satellite Accumulation Area Inspection Log(Fig. 3). Daily inspections of the <br /> containers in the Hazardous Waste Storage area will continue. <br /> 45. The contingency plan for this facility stated that a facility diagram with evacuation <br /> routes and building exits, the blank notification page submitted to local agencies, <br /> and a map showing the locations of emergency equipment were attached. <br /> The facility diagram with evacuation routes and building exits and a neap showing the <br /> locations of emergency equipment are attached to the contingency plan. The blank <br /> notification page submitted to local agencies has been deleted from the contingency plan. <br /> Instead the actual notifications that were made will be included. Attached is the updated <br /> contingency plan(Fig. 6). <br /> The contingency plan did not include the treatment unit and process. <br /> Linder Section 5, Assessment of Anticipated Hazardous Waste Incidents, the first type of <br /> waste, "Conversion Coating Rinse Water" addresses the treatment unit and process. It <br /> mentions the Largest Amount on Site at Any One Time as being 1,200 gallons, and the <br /> TypeNolume of Largest Container as 1,300 gal. poly tank. <br /> 49. The training program for this facility was focused on enforcement and did not <br /> completely address hazardous waste management procedures and contingency plan <br /> implementation. <br /> Training for the facility will be conducted on August 17, 2011 by Steve Reichow of NES. <br /> Attached is an outline of the training (Fig. 5).
