The <br /> paperwork portion of the the inspection and the full report were completed on September 5, 2013. <br /> Class I violation: (204) <br /> 204. A red stained wipe was observed in the trash in Building 1A; according to an employee in that <br /> section, the wipe was contaminated with solvent and should have been placed in the hazardous waste <br /> container. A partially full 946 mL container of PVC Cement was observed in the trash in Building 3. A <br /> sanding pad was observed in the trash can in Building 3; according the employee in that section, the pad <br /> was contaminated with chromium and should have been placed in the hazardous waste container. Metal <br /> fines from the grinding, cutting, and drilling of steel and other metals is being disposed of with the <br /> recyclable metals or with the floor sweepings; the 2011 inspection follow up by this facility stated that <br /> "metal fines will be collected and handled as hazardous waste." The disposal of any hazardous waste, or <br /> the causing of the disposal, is prohibited when the disposal is at a facility which is not permitted for <br /> hazardous waste disposal. Immediately remove all hazardous wastes from the trash cans throughout the <br /> facility and take all necessary precautions to ensure that all hazardous wastes are properly disposed of in <br /> the future. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector.
