QUALIFICATIONS,EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • Experience in automotive repair and troubleshooting;Railroad equipment maintenance; Diesel engine maintenance and repair, and HVAC repair preferred. • Certified forklift operator experience required. • Railroad Engineer Certification,Maintenance Facility Operator Certification or successful completion of Company certification program which includes on-the-job and classroom training,written, oral and hands-on testing. • Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record for previous three years. • No Railroad Operating Rules violations within previous two years. • No positive test results for alcohol or drugs within previous three years. ORGANIZATIONAL(AND OUTSIDE)RELATIONSHIPS: • All Herzog employees,outside vendors,and client(ACE). • Interfaces with ACE representatives and passengers. • Interfaces with dispatchers and freight railroad personnel. • Interfaces with other operation and mechanical employees. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • May be required to operate overhead crane during heavy repair maintenance and loading/unloading trucks. • May occasionally drive a company vehicle during emergency situations as instructed. • May operate pressure washer. • Exposure to outside weather conditions;to noise and extreme heat within locomotive engine rooms;to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock;to moving locomotives and train consists; and to diesel exhaust fumes. • Primary working conditions will be RMF(Rail Maintenance Facility), office, and all facility areas,which require work with and exposure to hazardous materials and waste. Some dust, diesel exhaust fumes,vapors,noise, oils, greases, grinding debris,compressed air,metal shavings,propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting. Exposed to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed and adhered to. • Open staff room with constant activity and interaction with cross-functional divisions, departments, and sections. Must be able to effectively change tasks at a moment's notice when the situation requires. • Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. May periodically travel to satellite sites. i t f Eff� f
