A red container of brake shavings was <br /> observed in the metal grinding area with a hazardous waste label with no hazardous property marked. All hazardous <br /> waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> - physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class 11. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by September 4. 2015. <br /> Note: (corrected on site) <br /> A 30 gallon black steel drum of used oil and used gasoline filters was observed labeled as "drained used oil filters." <br /> Used oil filters commingled with gasoline filters shall be drained of free-flowing liquid, stored in a closed, rainproof <br /> container, labeled as "drained used oil and gasoline filters." and marked with an accumulation start date. The label <br /> was corrected at the time of inspection. <br /> `This facility generated 6.11 tons of hazardous waste in 2014 and is being placed in a higher permit category (5-25 <br /> tons/year). This may result in increased permit fees. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
