Division: Stockton <br />Position Description: General Laborer <br />Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non -Exempt <br />Department: Ferrous Shred <br />Date Revised: 9/20/11 <br />job Summary: <br />SimsJ' <br />METAL <br />MANAGEMENT <br />0 <br />Perform general labor duties specifically in the appliance area of the Stockton yard. <br />Primary Responsibilities: <br />Disassemble and/or remove parts from major appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, <br />dryers, microwaves, etc. Employee will also be responsible for housekeeping in and around the <br />appliance area. <br />Qualifications: <br />To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each <br />essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the <br />knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made <br />to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <br />• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three <br />months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of <br />education and experience. <br />• Forklift Certification <br />• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen <br />• Must be able to comfortably wear all Personal Protective Equipment.
