The following wastes require hazardous waste determination: <br /> o Baking soda waste on the floor used for sand-blasting in the sanding chamber. <br /> o Residual ink waste from not-quite empty containers inside at least 2 trash containers <br /> 0 9 blue 5-gallon buckets of paint waste by the wash basin <br /> o Liquid waste in the wash basin <br /> o Liquid waste and filter cakes/solid residuals in the recycling process unit and two baking units <br /> o Unknown container under a parts-washer in the metal recycling room <br /> o Metal particles on the lathe and on the floor in the metal recycling room. <br /> o Coolant waste in 2 containers and an unknown 55-gallon drum with an incomplete hazardous <br /> waste label in the 17 Aurora building. <br /> Immediately make a hazardous waste determination of the above wastes and manage each accordingly, <br /> or dispose of the waste as hazardous waste in accordance to California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title <br /> 22. In addition, hazardous waste properties and size of metal particles must be determined before they <br /> can be recycled as scrap metal. Hazardous metal particles 100 microns or smaller cannot be recycled <br /> but must be handled as hazardous waste. If the waste is determined to be a non-hazardous waste, you <br /> are required to submit evidence (i.e. third party laboratory testing results) supporting such a <br /> determination to EHD.
