Hohe: <br />Attached is a letter dated April 3, 1997 from PG&E to San Joaquin Sheriffs <br />Department. Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, Section 66265.37 <br />requires hazardous waste generators to attempt to enter into contingency plan <br />agreements with local emergency response authorities. The request for such an <br />agreement was refused by the Sheriffs Department for both our McDonald <br />Island facility and Tracy Maintenance Station. <br />Per our telephone conversation on Thursday, June 15, 2005, please review and <br />reconsider signing the enclosed Title 22 (CCR) Hazardous Waste Contingency <br />Plan Agreement between PG&E and the Sheriff's Department for both McDonald <br />Island and Tracy Maintenance Station. The Hazardous Materials Business Plan <br />for both facilities is on electronic file with the San Joaquin County Office of <br />Emergency Services. <br />In addition, to we would like to offer you the opportunity of visiting our facility to <br />familiarize yourself with the site. <br />If there are any questions regarding the enclosed, or would like to make <br />arrangements for a site visit, please contact me at (559) 263-5208.
