Waste #6 Water <br /> Ninety-five percent of the 10 million gallons of water demanded by our <br /> papermaking process on a daily basis is recycled onsite. Only five <br /> percent or 500,000 gallons per day of water is actually consumed and <br /> discharged to the POTW in accordance with our waste water discharge <br /> permit. The water discharged to the POTW is non-hazardous. <br /> Required make-up water is used to provide, initially, boiler make-up or <br /> machine cooling water before being captured and reused by the <br /> papermaking process.
