Correct <br /> immediately. <br /> We now have new employee training logs that include position title. A copy of this new training log <br /> is included with this letter. <br /> 6) #60-A damaged lead acid battery(no cap)was not managed properly. Correct immediately. <br /> Our battery vendor has instructed us to place damaged batteries each in their own individual plastic <br /> bag and then place them in a leakproof container. <br /> 7) #75-Universal waste not being managed properly. Correct immediately. <br /> We will provide a training session on universal waste management to our employees. It will include <br /> what items to divert from our solid waste and the marking, recycling, accumulation time limits, and <br /> documentation requirements for universal waste. Initially, the training will be provided to the <br /> employee responsible for sorting solid waste found in our vehicles. In the near future it will be <br /> extended to all Pick-N Pull employees. A copy of this training and the sign-in log is included in this <br /> packet. <br /> 8) 476-Used alkaline batteries,waste aerosol cans, used mercury switches are not being labeled per this <br /> section. Correct immediately. <br /> All universal waste will now be marked as required. Please see the attached pictures. (see Pictures <br /> D,E,F,G) <br /> 9) #77-No bills of lading for recycling of mercury switches onsite. Container not labeled with <br /> accumulation start date. Correct immediately. <br /> Since the shipping process for these switches doesn't include any kind of receipt, we have created a <br /> log for tracking the shipment/recycling of our mercury switches. All containers will now be labeled <br /> with accumulation start dates. In addition we will start documenting all universal waste that we <br /> separate from our solid waste.
