Clark Dr., Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> ROUTINE HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR INSPECTION <br /> "Inspection conducted on August 18, 2011. Report completed on August 24, 2011 . Checklist left on <br /> site at time of inspection. <br /> Class II violations: (7, 11, 20, 23, 30, 60, 61, 62, 79, 83, 84) <br /> 7. A storage container labeled "waste collection center" was observed with a white powder accumulated <br /> at the bottom inside. No hazardous waste determination has been made for the powder. Any person <br /> who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a <br /> hazardous waste determination for this waste, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how these wastes were <br /> managed by September 22, 2011. <br /> 11 . A truck bed used to store equipment was observed with liquid leaking from it and pooling on the <br /> ground. Absorbent was placed on the spill and not cleaned up. At the time of inspection all shop <br /> employees had gone home for the day. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could <br /> threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the absorbent, manage according to Title <br /> 22 hazardous waste regulations, and take all necessary steps to prevent further leakage in the future. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by <br /> September 24, 2011. <br /> 20. A 55 gallon black steel drum of oily solids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with <br /> no hazardous property marked. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> 4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD In THIS FACILITY IS ECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspec Recei Title: <br /> aw <br /> EHD 23-02-003 ev 07/ 1 CON NUATION FORM <br />
