On 09/05/2013 the metal filings located in the <br /> bucket below the brake lathe were determined to be hazardous waste solids, <br /> brake shavings with chromium. This material was picked up by our hazardous <br /> waste hauler "evergreen environmental' on 09/05/2013. A copy of the manifest <br /> was mailed to D.T.S.C. on 09/09/2013. (See attached copies). We no longer <br /> recycle the brake shavings as scrap metal. See photo of hazardous waste <br /> collection bucket below the brake lathe machine. Violation has been corrected. <br /> CW <br /> Item #122, 123 & 124 (hazardous waste program inspection report) <br /> On 08/28/2013 I contacted the transporter "evergreen" to have them provide me <br /> with a copy of manifest #003031000JJK. It was readily accessible and provided <br /> to me. (see attached copy). Violation has been corrected. CW <br /> Item #132 (hazardous waste program inspection report) <br /> On 08/28/2013 we immediately implemented a daily log for inspections of the <br /> facility hazardous waste tanks. (see attached copy of daily inspections log) <br /> Violation has been corrected. CW <br /> Item #133 (hazardous waste program inspection report) <br /> Hazardous Waste Tank Assessments have been completed for used oil and used <br /> antifreeze tanks. (attached / email). Violation has been corrected. CW <br />
