MAR 1 Examples include: �AL 0-9EALT' -electronics seen in transportainer at the Corp Yard NW of 865. It was advised we not lewonaL the time of inspection for health reasons. 0EPARTIT -microwaves stored outside of building 867 on a pallet -items identified at the M80 Corp Yd which may be electronic and/or scrap metal -CRT, circuit boards, chart recorder, etc. seen in building 817D aka "room with a view" During the inspection it was difficult to identify if devices were electronic or scrap metal. It was also difficult to determine if electronic devices were waste or if they had a use at the facility. j Photos 1-9, 5-16, 17-18, 23-24, 24-25 Universal waste electronic devices, CRTs and CRT glass shall be stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment All broken universal waste electronic devices, CRTs, and CRT glass and releases shall be immediately cleaned and containerized. Immediately store all universal waste electronic devices, CRTs, and 'CRT glass in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. If device is scrap metal ensure recycling occurs. Provide to the EHD within 30 days a written response documenting what actions have been taken to correctly handle the above listed items and what steps have been put in place to identify and manage electronic devices, CRTs and CRT glass on the site, This is a repeat violation, Class II. l Overall Inspection Comments: Routine inspection conducted over a four day period-October 31-November 3, 2016. At the conclusion of the inspection a checklist of violations was left on site. This inspection report is the final report from that inspection. Violations were verbally discussed. Photos received November 18, 2016. Partial waste analysis was received for non-hazardous GAC, non-RCRA transformers, and non-RCRA sludge on December 16, 2016. Complete and submit the Return to Compliance certification with a statement addressing how each of the violations has been corrected or will be corrected to the EHD within 30 days of receipt of the final inspection report. Outstanding violations from 2015: Violation 106 Description: At Corp Yard 843, two 55 gallon drums and one open 5 gallon container of iron filings were observed.
