No hazardous <br />cooling tower sludge was generated in 2014. <br />For SNL <br />3.2 Building 9G3 Sumo Wastewater <br />The Maintenance Engineering Department power -washes various types of equipment at <br />the Building 963 wash down pad as part .of routine maintenance. The types of equipment <br />that are power -washed include landscaping equipment, heavy equipment and the trash <br />truck. This activity generates wastewater that is contaminated with oil, dirt and grease. <br />This waste is collected in the oil and water separator located at the Building 963 wash <br />down pad and disposed of as a non-RCRA hazardous waste. The waste is normally <br />pumped out once a year. <br />In an effort to conserve water, conservation efforts have been implemented that affect the <br />routine washing of vehicles and equipment -this has resulted in a decrease of <br />approximately 260 lbs in wastewater generated through routine maintenance operations. <br />3.3 Wastewater from Floor Scrubbing <br />The custodial staff perform <br />s floor stripping and waxing upon request only, which has <br />resulted in a significant reduction in wastewater.
